I said I was committed to taking at least one picture a day… for the rest of the year… &…I’ve kept to it so far. Here is a week of pictures that tell a story about something from each day…

From the upper left moving across then down to the bottom left and across…

Rylie walking home from Mrs. Dina’s house! She INSISTS on walking, and has an absolute fit if I am in a hurry and try to carry her home. If you look carefully, you can see Tiggi, our cat in the distance.

Tristen, giving thanks at our Thanksgiving Feast in my second grade class. All of the students wrote paragraphs about things they were thankful for, and I was so blessed to hear them.

Medicine… tea with honey? I have been fighting off this chest cold for about a week. I spent almost an entire day in bed, while my wonderful husband ran interference with the 3 munchkins. I’m feeling better ;o)

Rylie LOVES Tiggie. Note: he is being gently held down by daddy, so that he will stay in place long enough for Rylie to give him “lovies”.

Early Thanksgiving! Wesley is not with us for Thanksgiving this year, so we had an early Thanksgiving celebration… on our fine china and everything. We called it a “fancy dinner”… the girls wore dresses, and the boys wore button down shirts… I even made Mike’s favorite cranberry sauce!!

Today, I tried to get caught up on some photography work, while doing laundry, and figured out my dish that I’m responsible for bringing to Thanksgiving at my father’s house tomorrow.

My goal through the end of the year! Take at least 1 picture EVERY day! ANYONE WANT TO JOIN THE CHALLENGE??

Today I was the subject… it’s late I’m getting ready to hit the hay (note my bath tub in the background)… and my kidletts are sound asleep! YEAH!

Tomorrow the pics will be from a session… so I KNOW I’ll take more than 1 photo.:o)

Picture the most perfect day for a wedding… sunny Southern California… beach in Del Mar… a gorgeous bride a handsome groom… and loads of friends and family! Such was the day that Adrianne & Marco became one!

Frustrated!!

So the one of the biggest frustrations in my life… this time of year… is getting a good family picture of MY family to use for our Christmas cards! I can take pics of everyone else’s family, but to take a picture of my own family… I have to be in FRONT of the camera… and not behind it. I can’t actually look through the eye piece and pushing the shutter release at that perfect moment! Sooo frustrating!!!

Last year I invested in a little remote, that triggers the shutter… but even using this nifty little gadget… it is IMPOSSIBLE. This past weekend I decided to try, yet again…this year, to get a good family picture. I really like a few of the fun and candid pictures of the other members of my family… we’ll see! Maybe I’ll get lucky with my remote one of these times. For now, here’s one of the whole fam taken with my timer, I’m thinking about making a card something like this for our family this year! At least Rylie is looking. Campbelle is really the most difficult to photograph these days!

This picture was taken in a vineyard in Temecula. I really want to go back in a couple of weeks when the leaves start to turn, and take more pictures! We’ll see if the kiddos cooperate!

This couple was so fun to photograph… young and in love!! They had a simple wedding on the bluff… the rain held off just long enough to get through the ceremony and following pictures… then it poured after we were all safely inside at the reception. nice. I have so many pictures that I like from this shoot… it’s so hard to pick only a couple to show you here… I wish the happy couple all the best that life has to offer. Blessings!

Ok… so much fun taking the kiddos to the pumpkin patch… of course we just buy a couple of tickets and let Campbelle go in the jumpy… no pumpkin for our pumpkins this year. Of course that didn’t stop my girls from hugging and even trying to eat the pumpkins.

At least one of them was looking at me…

Now for the “trick or treating” princesses, pumpkin & the bee!!

It's time to start thinking about the holidays… and what you are going to do about your Christmas cards… and your family photo.

I will be running a mini-session special in the month of November. Stay tuned for the specifics on the package.

Check out this little example of something I'm thinking about doing for our Christmas card this year. The photo is from 6 months ago… (so if I choose this template, than there will be different pics on the card of the fam) I just want to showcase the template.
